NBC Universal Green Week

NBC Universal's new "Green is Universal" campaign kicked off Nov. 4th with a week of green-themed programming aimed at entertaining, informing and empowering Americans to lead greener lives.

Their Green page contains green tips, videos, guides and more... For example, check out the Days of Our Lives guide to creating a green wedding. I don't advocate heavy TV watching, but if you need to get it out of your system, this is a good week to do so!

I Enter stage right stammering breathlessly:
Ok..ok..I will! A green wedding sounds just perfect James!!

Oh... you mean you weren't asking me to marry you?!? Oooops.... I'm so embarrassed!
Exit stage left sobbing inconsolably...

Has anyone noticed that the character having the green wedding is on her 10th wedding? I think she's even got Liz Taylor beat! Plus she's got so many more years ahead of her to get married at least another 10 more times or more!

I'm really sorry I did not discover this delightful post earlier on Monday... I would have loved to see how "Heroes" went green. Perhaps they added a new Hero for the episode, either the Hulk or the Jolly Green Giant made a guest appearance? "Save the cheerleader, save the world!" became "Save the eco-system, save the world!" Somehow, though, it doesn't have quite the same ring to it.....

In Love, Gratitude and Greenness,

Amy
